When Selecting a Home Inspection Company, a buyer should ask several questions including but not limited to:

1.  May I see a copy of your inspection report?

2.  How long have you been in business?

Advanced inspector Gary Williams has been inspecting houses since 1992.  Mr. Williams started his own company in 1996.

3.  What is an Advanced Inspector?

An advanced inspector is one who has met requirements of the Texas Association of Real Estate Inspectors required to receive the designation.  These include: number of inspections performed, education, experience training and contributions to the profession.

4.  What is your background?

Prior to starting Williams Inspection Services, Inc., Mr. Williams worked owned a construction company for 25 years and has worked in in all phases of commercial and residential construction, from multi story buildings to single family homes, Mr. Williams has seen it all!

5.  Are you a full time Inspector?

This has been a full time endeavor since its inception. We currently complete approximately 1,500 inspections per year.

6.  How many inspections have you performed?

Mr. Williams has completed and supervised over 7,500 residential and commercial inspections.

7.  How much do you charge?

Prices are based on the square footage and type of systems in the house.  Call now for a price quote over the phone.

8.  What will the inspection cover?

Our inspectors will cover the major systems of the home including structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliances and various optional systems.  In addition, our inspectors are licensed through our affiliate company, Pest-Pro Pest Management Services, Inc., to inspect for wood destroying insects including termites and carpenter ants. The building inspections must be done in compliance with the Standards of Practice as promulgated by the Texas Real Estate Commission. Wood Destroying Insect inspections must be conducted in compliance with the requirements of the Texas Structural Pest Control Board.

9.  What kind of report will I receive?

10. May I attend and ask questions?

Absolutely - Clients are encouraged to attend the inspection and ask questions so the conditions reported are thoroughly understood.
